Hopsewee Plantation Engagement Pictures | Brooke and Blake | Georgetown Wedding venue

Hopsewee Plantation, Georgetown SC

Hey everyone! I’m so excited to post Brooke’s and Blake’s engagement session from one of the most beautiful wedding venues in Georgetown, SC : Hopsewee Plantation!

It is also known as Hopsewee-on-the-Santee and is a plantation house built in 1735 near Georgetown, South Carolina. It was the birthplace of Thomas Lynch, Jr., a signer of the Declaration of Independence, and served as a Lowcountry rice plantation.

Engagement pictures on a sunny day in Georgetown

The sun was casting beautiful light all afternoon and Brooke brought several dresses for the session… each one more beautiful than the other. I love love love her first choice, a blush pink dress to complement the gorgeous scenery and Blake added color with his navy suit. It was pure elegance. You can tell by the pictures that they are much into each other and they love a good laugh. They were giggling, I was shooting and together we had a blast for a couple of hours :)

I am looking forward to photographing their wedding this coming May. Check out these pictures from their lovely engagement session and let me know what you think!
