Wedding venue: Marriott Myrtle Beach Resort and Spa at Grande Dunnes

Welcome to Wendy and Joe’s wedding blog post! This was a super fun wedding that we had the honor to photograph at the beautiful Marriott Resort and Spa at Grande Dunnes in Myrtle Beach. The venue is the ideal blend of sun, beachfront, and relaxation surrounded by beautiful greenery and the lovely ocean backdrop! We couldn’t have asked for better!

From the moment I met Wendy and Joe I knew I was going to love love love working with them. I have been a wedding photographer in Myrtle Beach for many years and I can recognize right away a couple that’s super and I mean SUPER SUPEr in love…. and this was Wendy and Joe! During our first consultation I could tell they can’t take their eyes off each other and I just new the magic that was going to happen in pictures :)

Wendy was walked down the aisle by her father and her son and this meant a lot to her. Joe waited for her basically in tears even though they did have a very emotional first look before hand he was still mesmerized to see her walk down to marry him. During the wedding she asked her guests to stand around them and grab one of the wedding bouquets carefully prepared for them ahead of time and be a part of the circle of love along with them as they were getting married. It was magical. The balcony at Marriott overlooked the ocean on a nice breezy warm May day!

During the speeches her son gave a very emotional and heart felt speech that had everyone in tears (including myself). You could tell the whole family was so happy to see these two love birds get married and be happy! The food was amazing as always there!

We sneaked out for some sunset shots as yours truly here can’t consider the night complete without some special effects wedding photos :)) For my surprise when we went down to the beach there was a full moon!!! imagine that! a full moon right on your wedding day …so we made sure to capture that besides the magic that was already present between our lovely bride and her groom.

The night went on with a full on party and Wendy and Joe didn’t skip a single beat! They were dancing, my feet were tapping as I was taking pictures and everyone had their hands up in the sky rocking it !

Blush Beauty Bar did a fantastic job on Wendy’s hair as she looked stunning walking down that isle!! Croissants Bistro and Bakery provided the cake and let me tell you… it was delicioussssss!

Scott Shaw as the DJ kept the dance floor full the entire night as you can tell from the pictures !! So much fun during this wedding! Lazelle flower shop prepared her gorgeous bouquet and flower arrangements for Wendy and Joe’s wedding and they smelled bewildering!
